Arcsec

Arcsec is a spinoff company of the KU Leuven University in Belgium that develops attitude determination and control systems for Small Satellites. The company was founded in 2020 after creating the ADCS for the SIMBA mission from ESA. The main product line are self-contained star trackers for LEO missions. Our most defining characteristic is our expertise in SSA (Space Situational Awareness).

This expertise comes from giving our star trackers a secondary functionality where they can detect other bright objects that pass through the FOV. With this project, we are taking the lead in developing a novel generation of sensors that help solving the issue of space debris.

 

BMT aerospace

BMT Aerospace is gespecialiseerd in de ontwikkeling en productie van hoogprecisie‑tandwielen en aandrijfsystemen voor de internationale luchtvaartindustrie. Onze componenten vinden hun weg naar ’s werelds grootste vliegtuig- en motorenbouwers, waaronder Airbus, Pratt & Whitney, Sikorsky, Embraer en Honeywell. Elke 2 seconden stijgt ergens ter wereld een vliegtuig op met onderdelen van BMT Aerospace aan boord.

We hebben productievestigingen in België, Roemenië en de Verenigde Staten, met het hoofdkantoor in Oostkamp, waar ongeveer 120 medewerkers actief zijn.

BMT Aerospace maakt deel uit van de BMT Groep, een Belgische industriële groep met tientallen hoogtechnologische productiebedrijven, waaronder IGW, VCST en OMCO. De bedrijven binnen de groep zijn gespecialiseerd in zeer nauwkeurige verspaning met extreem strikte toleranties, en leveren hoogwaardige mechanische componenten voor diverse internationale markten.
